Lenovo has officially launched its new product—the ThinkPlus Mini Color Box Smart Touchscreen Bluetooth Earbuds (or simply the LP70 Pro)—which can be controlled via a built-in touchscreen on the charging case, according to GizmoChina.
Touchscreen display on the case
Now you can control audio playback, answer incoming calls, set alarms, adjust the volume, and search for your earbuds without using a smartphone—all of these functions can be performed using the color touchscreen, built into the charging case. The developers claim that the case’s display interface provides instant access to a dozen key functions with a single tap.
Key Features of Headphones
As for the LP70 Pro headphones themselves, they are equipped with large 13-millimeter drivers featuring a composite diaphragm, which delivers excellent sound quality across all frequency ranges. Sound modes (jazz, vocal, balanced, bass, stereo) can be customized individually through the user interface. The new gadget also features 360-degree spatial audio.
The headphones connect via Bluetooth 5.4 and are compatible with the most popular operating systems: Android, iOS, Windows, and HarmonyOS.
The new model’s battery life is provided by 30 mA/h batteries in each earbud, which guarantee up to 4 hours of use on a single charge, while the charging case’s 500 mA/h battery provides up to 30 hours of battery life. Charging is done via the Type-C port and takes an hour and a half to reach full capacity.
Price of the LP70 Pro
The new product is currently available only in the Chinese market for 159 yuan (about $22). Users can choose from three color options: beige, black, and pink.
