There have been changes to the Eternal Fire roster: DemQQ and rigoN have left the team

The Turkish esports organization Eternal Fire has officially announced the end of its partnership with Serhiy “DemQQ” Demchenko and Rigon “rigoN” Gashi. Both players joined the team in January 2026, but their time together came to an end less than a year later.

This isn’t the first time Eternal Fire has made personnel changes this season. In April, the team signed Julian “regali” Hardjau and Gareth “MisteM” Rees, who replaced Volodymyr “Woro2k” Veletnyuk and Emrekan “EMSTAR” Chalishkan.

However, the roster changes did not yield the expected results. The team was never able to consistently establish itself among the best, remaining outside the top 50 of the VRS rankings. Poor performances in both online qualifiers and lower-tier LAN tournaments forced the organization to make changes to its roster once again.

After leaving Eternal Fire, Sergey “DemQQ” Demchenko announced that he is looking for a new team.

According to the Ukrainian esports player, he is embarking on a new phase of his career with even greater motivation and a desire to improve. DemQQ said he is grateful for the experience he gained on his previous team, but is now fully focused on the future.

The player emphasized that he is ready for new challenges and ambitious goals, and is eager to join a team that shares his desire to win. DemQQ is currently a free agent and is open to offers from teams in the European region.

Organization roster:

  • 🇹🇷 Samet “jottAAA” Keklü (on loan from Aurora)
  • 🇷🇴 Julian “regali” Harjau
  • 🇿🇦 Gareth “MisteM” Rees
  • 🇹🇷 Yiğit “yT” Özdem (coach)

  • 🇹🇷 Ömer “imoRR” Karataş (reserve)
  • 🇹🇷 Bugra “Calyx” Arkin (reserve)
