Swedish esports player Ludwig “Brollan” Brolin has officially left MOUZ. The organization announced the player’s departure after he spent about two and a half years with the team.
Rumors about Brollan’s future began circulating shortly after his unexpected demotion to the bench. At that time, MOUZ signed Justinas “jL” Lekavičius on loan and promoted xelex to the starting lineup, even though there was very little time left in the season.
Despite this, the Swede played for the team at the Major and, after two tournaments, stated that he hoped to remain with the team, even though his contract was set to expire at the end of the season. However, the club’s management ultimately decided to change the direction of the roster.
Brollan joined MOUZ in early 2024 on loan from Ninjas in Pyjamas. Just a few months later, the club bought out his contract, making the Swede a full-fledged member of the team.
At the start of 2025, Brolin took on a new role—following siuhy’s unexpected departure, he became the captain. Under his leadership, MOUZ enjoyed one of the most successful stretches in its recent history, regularly advancing to the playoffs. The team managed to put together a streak of 17 consecutive tournaments in which it reached the playoff stage.
However, in 2026, their results began to decline. The first serious warning sign was an early elimination from the group stage of the BLAST Open Rotterdam. After that, the captaincy was handed over to Dorian “xertioN” Berman, and Brollan returned to his usual in-game roles. However, this move did not help the Swede retain his spot on the starting roster—he was soon permanently moved to the bench, and the club has now officially announced the end of their partnership.
