Xtreme Gaming has effectively been left without a roster following The International 2026. The organization announced the departure of five team members at once—NothingToSay, Xxs, fy, xNova, and coach LaNm.
Ame is currently the only player who will continue to compete under the XG banner. The club noted that the changes were the result of negotiations with team members and were made with their personal wishes in mind.
The roster shakeup took place immediately after Xtreme Gaming’s disappointing performance at The International 2026. Last year, the Chinese team was one step away from the championship title, having reached the TI 2025 Grand Final. This time, they were unable to repeat that result: XG was eliminated in the group stage after losing to Team Resilience.
Not all roster changes came as a surprise. Rumors about the possible departures of NothingToSay, fy, and xNova had been circulating even before the official announcement, while Xxs’s future remained much less certain. In the end, he also left the team.
At the same time, rumors about Xtreme Gaming’s future roster have already begun to circulate. According to preliminary reports, Xm, zeal, XinQ, and BoBoKa may join Ame on the team.
If these rumors prove true, XG will partially return to a lineup that Ame is already very familiar with. The Chinese carry previously played alongside Xm and XinQ. The latter two left the organization in the fall of 2025, after which NothingToSay and fy took their places.
The changes didn’t affect only the players. Following LaNm’s departure, there has been talk in the Chinese scene about coach Xiao8’s possible return to Xtreme Gaming. At the same time, another option is being considered—his move to LGD Gaming.
So far, none of these rumors have been officially confirmed. Xtreme Gaming is effectively beginning to build a new version of the team around Ame.
