BLAST reviewed the rules regarding Team Liquid’s roster for BLAST Premier Bounty and allowed the team to compete with a new player. Previously, Liquid had been forced to register Roland “ultimate” Tomkovyak in place of rookie Georgi “Jorko” Mitev due to restrictions related to the Wildcard invitation they received.
After further review of the situation, the tournament organizers made adjustments and allowed Liquid to field its updated roster. BLAST clarified that the team may register at least three players from the list consisting of malbsMd, EliGE, NAF-FLY, and Ultimate. As a result, Team Liquid will be able to compete in the tournament with a new AWPer, despite the initial regulations for teams with Wildcard invitations.
As a reminder, Team Liquid will play its match in BLAST Bounty Season 2 on July 24 at 5:00 p.m. against Vitality.
