The Ukrainian Esports Federation (UESF) has wrapped up Stage 3 of the Ukrainian Dota 2 Championship and is simultaneously holding the group stage of the national CS2 championship.
In Dota 2, Balu Team claimed the championship title for the second time in a row. In the grand final, the team defeated Fura z Benzynom 2.0 with a score of 2–0 and earned 50,000 hryvnias. The silver medalists received 30,000 hryvnias, while Low Cortisol Gaming and smiski, who tied for third and fourth place, each received 10,000 hryvnias.
On their way to the final, Balu Team first secured a technical victory over Yellow Dragons Junior, and then defeated Low Cortisol Gaming 2–0 in the semifinals. The champions’ roster: Kaeioet, diman4ig, chipikao, qute, and Akamu.
Meanwhile, Stage 3 of the Ukrainian CS2 Championship is underway. The group stage runs from August 3 to 9. Sixteen teams are participating: SICARIOS, IC PROSPECT, ANTEIKU, LFO UKRAINE, B8 ACADEMY, WINSTONBLUE, KLG LFO, FAMILY, FAVER SQUAD, EINAPO, EMPIRE, 262+4, LEEK NXT, ENDLESSFLOW, ERLAMAND ACADEMY, and TRYHEARTS.
Today, August 4, Day 2 of the group stage will take place:
2 p.m. — ERLAMAND ACADEMY vs ENDLESSFLOW
4 p.m. — EINAPO vs TRYHEARTS
6 p.m. — IC PROSPECT vs FAVER SQUAD
8 p.m. — LFO UKRAINE vs WINSTONBLUE
The UESF continues to host national championships in various disciplines, supporting Ukrainian players and the development of the country’s esports scene.
