The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine has announced the launch of new electronic registries covering professionals in the fields of land management and geodesy. From now on, engineers in these industries will be able to switch entirely to online interactions with government systems via the Diya.Engine platform.
This digital tool enables land surveyors and geodesists to work with their own documents in a convenient and secure format. They will be able not only to submit requests to update their registration information, but also to promptly renew their certificates, confirm their qualifications, and report on training they have completed or professional development they have undertaken.
To use the new system, professionals must visit the website drsizg.land.gov.ua, verify their identity through the id.gov.ua platform, and then log in to their personal account. In their personal account, they can submit applications, edit their personal information, add details about new educational achievements, or update documents that confirm their professional competence.
All data entered into the system is synchronized with government databases without the need for re-entry or manual duplication, which minimizes the risk of errors or loss of important information.
The registries will store a wide range of information, including:
- the specialist’s last name, first name, and patronymic;
- information from identification documents;
- the date of issuance and the validity period of the qualification certificate;
- the educational institution where the education was obtained;
- types and areas of work performed;
- place of employment;
- information regarding membership in professional associations or self-regulatory organizations;
- information regarding the suspension or revocation of a certificate.
The introduction of electronic registries is part of the overall digital transformation of professional activities in Ukraine. Thanks to the Diya.Engine platform, processes that previously required a lot of time, paperwork, and in-person visits are now carried out remotely, which significantly improves the efficiency and transparency of industry professionals’ work.
In the long term, this innovation should not only improve convenience for users but also enhance the quality of government regulation and oversight in the fields of land management and geodesy.
